Design And Gameplay
This game is based on the Baiyin serial murders. It reconstructs the narrative space and features the son of the serial killer as the protagonist, exploring and depicting the inner world of the serial killer and the significant impact he had on his surroundings. Players take on the role of the main character, who returns to his hometown to unravel the mysteries surrounding his father. Throughout this process, intentionally neglected details gradually come to light. As the exploration of “home” deepens, the game delves into buried memories, searching for the dark aspects unwilling to be touched, ultimately uncovering the true face behind the father’s darkness. The gameplay mainly involves walking and solving puzzles, with each new room revealing new secrets. At the end of the story, the player must face everything and make a choice between a peaceful resolution or… how to proceed.
